We love visiting San Diego any chance we get. There’s so much to see and do and the overall vibe is relaxing with great weather and beautiful beaches. It’s super easy to get to San Diego from the Bay Area with just an hour direct flight from any of the Bay Area airports which makes it a perfect place for a quick getaway or R&R from the daily grind. We’ve been to San Diego a couple of times and have put together a quick guide of some things we’ve experienced in the area.
With summer here, strawberries are once again plentiful and sweet, much to our delight. With the warmer weather we wanted to find a light recipe that would combine our love for strawberries with our love for desserts.
We visited Banff National Park in Canada a couple of summers ago and fell in love with the nature and landscape. Being avid skiers, we knew we had to make a trip back to experience their amazing ski terrain and to see the park in the wintertime.
For the Holidays, we wanted to do a small getaway with family somewhere not too far and not too crowded. Since we have family in the South, we decided Temecula would be the perfect place for a visit.
Temecula is known as the Wine Country of Southern California located an hour Southeast of LA and an hour Northeast of San Diego. Wineries fill the hillsides and a lot of history can be found in Old Town Temecula with buildings dating from the 1800s.
Whenever we travel, dog friendly hotels and places are always a priority. Our fur babies are a part of the family and we always want to bring them along with us! Wine Road Northern Sonoma County has a variety of lodging, wineries, and restaurants that will make your doggies feel right at home.
