Morgan Winery: Organic & Sustainable Wines

A glass of Morgan Winery wine never disappoints. Morgan Winery is located in Carmel’s Santa Lucia Highlands and focuses on organic and sustainable farming while at the same time staying innovative in the wine making process. We love their pinots, they are extremely well balanced and are superb to open right away or save for a special occasion. Their bottles are perfect for enjoying with a summer meal, al fresco!

Winemaker Dan Morgan Lee has been making wine since 1978 and continues to craft award-winning wines. He studied wine making at UC Davis (Go Aggies!) where his love for science and agriculture flourished. Dan and his wife Donna opened Morgan Winery’s doors in 1982 by and have been consistently making excellent wine ever since. The winery is still family owned and operated today.

In addition to their famous Pinots, Morgan Winery also produces amazing Chardonnays and some more unique varietals such as Albarino, Tempranillo, and more. Are you ready for a glass yet? Visit Morgan Winery on your next visit to Carmel. Their tasting room is conveniently nestled in the heart of Carmel at the Crossroads Shopping Center and is open daily 11:00am – 6:00pm. A tasting flight brings the family’s history and craft to life through a relaxed tasting experience. They have a beautiful patio to enjoy a tasting or bottle. To top it off they are pet friendly! Reservations are recommended but walk-in’s are also welcome.
