One of the biggest advantages of living in the Bay Area is our often amazing weather. Even the coldest of weathers doesn’t last as long as most other areas in America and are not nearly as cold. We have been taking advantage of our great climate as much as possible by making our outdoor spaces as comfortable as our indoor homes. At the center of it all is our amazing Outer sofas. Outer has perfected the patio sofa to make outdoor living inviting, relaxing, and amazing.

Outer sofas most unique feature is their integrated OuterShell cover that easily rolls out and over cushions to protect them from dust and morning dew. When you are ready to use the sofa, just roll the shell back and tuck them behind the cushions. This helps keep the sofa clean, dry, and ready to use whenever you want.

But besides functionality, they also focus on durability. The fabric for the cushions are stain and fade- resistant and the all- weather wicker is hand- woven and wrapped around a powder-coated alloy frame. The legs are made from rustproof stainless steel that can stand up to wind, rain, heat, and snow.

Outer also focuses on comfort with their seat cushions made from multi-layer memory foam that is usually only found in premium mattresses. They describe the experience as “like you’re sitting on a cloud” since it’s so comfortable! They are both firm for great support but conforming so you won’t feel stiff while sitting. They offer both modular sofas and sectionals that can be configured with add ons to fit new spaces or expanding families.

One of our favorite aspects of the sofa is that the wicker is made from 99+ recycled plastic bottles and is fully recyclable. They are also a “1% for the Planet” member which means they contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes.

We have a Outer sofa at our cabin in Tahoe that has allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the area even more. This summer we’ve had bbqs, smores, and star gazing while enjoying our Outer Sofa.

We also have a Outer sectional that we keep at home to enjoy in our backyard. We love that the fabric is stain resistant since both the kids and the dog love climbing on, off, and around the sectional while playing outside- sometimes with not so clean hands!
