How it Works
Every week, their chefs create a delicious new menu packed with the highest quality ingredients and lots of superfoods. All of the meals are gluten- and dairy-free! There is also a choice to get your your meals with meat or vegan.
Here are the 2 simple steps:
1) Select how many days you would like to receive Thistle – choose between 3, 4 or 5 days worth of nutrition. Some people just want breakfast or lunch covered; others want 3 meals a day plus snacks and juice. You can also customize your plan by adding and substituting specific items. In addition to meals, Thistle also offers cold-pressed juices, juice shots, snacks, cold brew coffees and juice cleanses which are a perfect compliment to any of their meal options.
2) Thistle then delivers meals to your home or office every Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday (depending on your plan). Meals come delivered in a nifty cooler bag so it stays cold even if it has to sit out on your porch for an hour or so. It’s also great to note that they deliver across all of California!
What We Think
Thistle is very convenient for those of us stuck in an office for most of they day. Since deliveries are made every few days it makes it easier to stock up on the meals and not have to worry about ordering each meal when you get hungry. It’s a great choice if you are trying to eat healthier and care about eating a balanced diet.
Though the meals are constantly changing, our favorite dishes were the Korean BBQ Quinoa and the Jambalaya. The surf juice also tasted great and was the perfect refresher for a mid day work drink. We also tried out their Lava juice which includes activated charcoal. This was our first time drinking charcoal! It does have a bit of a gritty texture, but didn’t effect the taste of the juice at all. Charcoal apparently has many health benefits including reducing intestinal gas, preventing hangovers, and whitening teeth…who knew?!
