We wanted to look back on the year and give a special shout out to some of our favorites and “bests”. Take a look and let us know what some of your favorites are in the comments below!
Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, and Danville make up what is known as Tri Valley. It’s an excellent getaway for food and wine lovers without breaking the bank.
The highly anticipated election day is drawing near. After casting your ballot on election day, November 8, 2016 head to these Bay Area businesses to score some deals and freebies!
Even with so many food delivery options popping up in the Bay Area it’s still difficult to find healthy choices. We were excited to review Berkeley based company, Thistle since they take nutrition seriously and have an ever changing menu.

Santa Cruz, CA is a world famous destination known for it’s for great beaches and a casual surf town atmosphere. It’s only a short drive from most of the Bay Area, making it a perfect weekend getaway or even a day trip. Most of us who live in the Bay Area have already been to Santa Cruz on a few occasions and most likely know about the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, UC Santa Cruz, and some of the more popular beaches. We wanted to make a list of a few places that may not be as well known, but are just as wonderful!
Healdsburg is a wonderful Bay Area wine weekend getaway. It’s not too far, so even coming for a day trip is very doable. While we came for the wine, we also discovered all of the other great agriculture practices happening in the area. It’s truly a farming community. There are also a vast variety of food and drink options ranging from quick and casual, to a slow and relaxing meal.
We had a great weekend away with friends and can’t wait to return to see more of what this great town has to offer! Below is a list of what we experienced on our trip. Let us know your Healdsburg favorites in the comments below.

Pokémon Go has taken the Bay Area by storm! We know you “gotta catch ’em all” and we’re here to help you. Many Bay Area businesses are joining in on the fun, so why not grab a bite to eat, or something to drink while you are on the hunt? Below are a list of local businesses where you can catch two pidgeys with one pokéball (okay, bad joke).
Know of any more businesses that are Pokémon hot spots? Please comment below so we can add it to our list.
There’s a first for everything and a few weeks ago we got a chance to experience our first off roading adventure. Not knowing what to expect, we headed to Hollister bright and early to meet up with the crew at Venture Jeeps.
What exactly is off roading? Wikipedia says: Off-roading is the activity of driving or riding a vehicle on unsurfaced roads or tracks, made of materials such as sand, gravel, riverbeds, mud, snow, rocks, and other natural terrain. Traveling on off-road terrains require vehicles capable of accommodating off-road driving such as ATVs. These vehicles accommodate off road conditions with extended ground clearance, off-road tires and drive-train. Some manufacturers offer vehicles specifically meant for off-road use.
If you grew up in California you have probably have heard of, “Eureka”. The term is used as an exclamation of “triumph at a discovery”. We were lucky enough to discover, Eureka! as they have been expanding to new locations all over the Bay Area. We found unique drinks, delicious eats, and great vibes!
Whether you are entertaining out-of-town guests or looking for entertainment, go and have some Filoli fun under the summer sun.
We heard about Nasch’s recent opening through the grapevine and wanted to check it out. After all, there aren’t too many places in the Bay Area to try authentic Austrian food. As the more simple and casual sister to Naschmarkt in downtown Campbell, Nasch is the perfect place to relax. The restaurant is brightly lit with natural light and they serve all of the essentials: cold beer, Schnitzel, and freshly made sausages.
