These past couple of years I haven’t invested in many new clothes at all. Being pregnant the kind of puts a damper on the whole shopping experience. It’s difficult enough finding flattering maternity wear, but also just as difficult to find comfortable postpartum wear that doesn’t involve sweat pants. Like many other expectant mothers I’ve talked to, I was hesitant to spend money on maternity wear that I knew I would only wear for a few months of my life.
When I learned about PinkBlush clothing I was super excited because many of their items are “transitional styles”, made to be worn as maternity wear, or before and/or after baby. I’ll be able to wear these pieces for years to come! Their website is separated into four categories, Maternity, Maternity Plus, Women’s and Women’s Plus so it is easy to find something that fits just right. In the maternity section many of the pieces show a photo of how the clothing looks on an expectant mother and on a model with no baby bump. I love this feature, it was super helpful in choosing outfits that will look great throughout all of my physical changes.
For summer maternity wear, dresses are a go to. I also wanted to try out a couple of jumpsuits as well since they are easy to run around and chase toddlers in while still being breezy. Below are some of our favorite items we received from PinkBlush.
This Black Floral Button Front Sleeveless Maternity Jumpsuit is super comfy and easy to wear. Paired with a cardigan or light jacket it would be easy to transition into your fall wardrobe as well! As maternity wear it drapes nicely and doesn’t pull, tug, or feel tight anywhere. Looking forward to wearing this piece postpartum as well. The buttons down the front also make it nursing friendly.
Another one of my favorite items is this Navy Blue Tiered Lace-Up Tie Back Dress. Like the majority of their clothing, this is suitable as maternity and non-maternity wear. It’s perfect for a day at the beach and the lace up tie back makes it super easy to adjust to get a perfect fit.
This Black Striped Ruffle Trim Maxi Dress is perfect to dress up or down. It could be worn to an event, or just around town. It’s unrestrictive with plenty of belly room to grow! It’s been a great piece to wear all summer long.
A black jumpsuit is a closet staple wether you are an expecting momma or not. PinkBlush’s Black Button Front Wide Leg Maternity Jumpsuit is perfect for both! It had some great reviews online already, so we knew we would love it. The fabric is super soft and smooth, draping perfectly. Paired with a denim jacket or cardigan, it’s an easy piece to transition into night wear as well.
The whole shopping experience was great. The website is easy to navigate and as I said before, I love that each item shows it being worn as maternity wear and non-maternity wear. It’s a wonderful place for women to shop whether they are currently pregnant, or not. The clothing itself is comfortable and well made.
Thank you to PinkBlush for gifting us this these items. All opinions are our own and an honest assessment of the products.
