We are so lucky to have a world renowned wine region right in our backyard. Napa Valley is 30 miles long, by 5 miles across (at the widest point). The valley is comprised of a variety of soil types and climates, which make it ideal for winemaking. Napa is the valley’s largest city, but along the 30 miles are plenty of smaller towns, each with their own unique characteristics and charm.
St. Helena is often referred to as the heart of Napa Valley. It offers the best of everything: wine, food, accommodations, and fantastic views! Only a short jog from San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area, it’s the perfect Napa Valley wine country weekend getaway. We have rounded up some of our favorite places to stay, eat, drink, and see in and around the quaint town of St. Helena.
